I think it's Spring.

It's hard to believe that these pictures are just 2 weeks apart. We had a crazy snow storm at the end of February. Now, mid- March and I found my first winter aconite (Eranthis hyemalis) growing in the Spring Garden. The last week was such a warm, sunny gift.

It felt wonderful to get out in the garden and even dig in the compost heap. I spotted some daffodils and crocus pushing through, too. I really do think spring is here.

We've also started getting our first eggs of the season. Both the Khaki Campbell's and the Muscovy ducks are laying. Maybe the geese will finally start laying this year! Only time will tell.
